WASHINGTON, Dec 15 (Reuters) - E-Z-GO, a section of
Textron Inc, is recalling 21,900 TXT golf carts, Cushman
shuttle vehicles and Bad Boy off-road utility vehicles because
of concerns a displacing ball joint can means crashes, the
Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said.
The threaded finish of a shelve rod round corner can mangle and
the round corner can turn displaced, causing a motorist to lose
steering control, a CPSC pronounced in a matter on a website.
The Augusta, Georgia, association knows of 71 reports of the
ball corner violation and 13 of a incidents resulted in the
balljoint displacing. There have been no reports of injuries.
